Growing your Money Tree
Your income only grows to the extent that you do. The way we think determines our actions and therefore determines our results. Money is a result, health is a result, and so are relationships. We live in a world of cause and effect, actions and results.
Imagine a tree. There are many types of trees, but let’s think of the tree as the Money Tree. The money tree produces fruits, your money fruits. If you don’t like your money fruit, it is not enough fruit, or maybe the fruit is too small, it is time to look at how we grow our money tree.
There is an old hermetic principal that says “as above, so below, so below, as above”, meaning what you see above the ground, is also below the ground. If you want different money fruits above the ground, what is visible, we need to look what is underground, what is invisible. If you want to change the fruits of the tree, you need to change the seed that is planted.
If you want to transform the results, you need to change the actions.
To transform the actions, you need to change the decisions.
To transform the decisions, you have to change how you think.
To transform how you think, you have to reporgram the feelings associated with thinking.

Plant seeds of commitment
Start with a commitment seed to plant your money tree. Being committed to the process, your success and playing to win, will give the seed strength, tenacity, and the empowerment to break through the hard shell (hard times) and start growing. When there is a strong commitment to your pursuit, nothing will stop you or get in the way of growing.
Trees don’t worry about what trees will think, what other trees are doing, or how fast or slow they are growing. Trees are committed to their own health and progress of “just growing”. Commitment will bring a new pattern of thinking, which transforms decisions, with different actions that will transform and enhance your money results.
Fertilize your Mind
No thought in your mind lives rent free. The thought is either an investment, moving you towards your desired results, or a cost, moving you or away from abundance. Thoughts fertilized with positive feelings will become an investment. Thoughts fertilized by fear, doubt and worry, will become a cost and a liability with stunted growth. Commit to learning and growing your mind, study with the best, and become a student of your profession, you will always create abundant fruit.
Eliminate the Weeds
You are the sum of the people that you surround yourself with. If you surround yourself with 4 broke people, you will be the 5th. If you surround yourself with millionaires and billionaires who are committed to their success, you will likely follow in their footsteps. Who you share your time with will influence your money tree results and how large the money fruit will grow. Look at the people you share time with in your life. Are they upbeat, happy, and successful people that are fertilizing your mind or are they depressed, negative talking, downers that are creating weeds?
Water Regularly
Every decision can be seen either as an opportunity or an obstacle. Successful people with strong money trees see opportunities. If an obstacle arises, a new path will be shown, just like water, taking the path of least resistance. If a rock or boulder in the way, the water will go over it, around it, or change direction completely. Without regular watering, your mind will dry up and become a hard, dense rock. Take action on the opportunities and water regularly while flowing around any perceived obstacle.
Receive the Sun Shine
Optimal growth of your money tree requires receiving the sun shine. What you focus on expands. If you focus on receiving the sunshine, more sunshine will return. If you focus on being successful with numerous money trees, you will be successful with an entire forest of tress. The key here is having the ability to receive the sun shine. We all have heard “it is better to give and receive”, but realize that in order to have a giver, there has to be a receiver. The sun is always giving, shining brightly in the sky. Even behind the clouds and rain, the energy of the sun is always there. Stay focused on receiving the sunshine and your tree will grow big and strong.
Harvest your Fruits of Wealth
Take a good look at your money tree and the fruits your tree delivers. Are the money fruits the right size, quantity, and do you have plenty of supply? Take time and enjoy your harvest and share the bounty with others. These gifts were given to you for a reason, and the happiest people are the ones who share their natural gifts and talents. Sharing your gifts creates significant value and produces new seeds of commitment for replanting.
